Just a little note I noticed with Pierre. Early in the first, the Penguins (having the last change) took the Crosby line off the ice against Philly's top shutdown line, the Couturier line. Pierre was doing backflips talking about what a fantastic coaching strategy was being employed by executing this move. My wife, who knows less about hockey than the average poster on this board, looked at me and went, "Isn't that what any coach should do?" Just a thought. /rant

God damn classy sh!t last night from everyone in that arena, watching it live gave me goosebumps. I've given Pens fans a LOT of crap in the last few years due to playoff series etc, but that blew me away.

So I certainly wasn't expecting to win last night. A struggling Philly team coming in to Console with a back up goalie to face a well rested Pens team. Great game plan by Philly executed it almost to perfection. I'm glad they did now Johnson can evaluate and make adjustments.

I personally think both of them were overrated and there's graduation goggles when looking at their work. Especially now that it sounds like Clement is having an ulcer in the booth every time there's a Flyers chance.

Maybe. Either way nothing really compares to the overall presentation compared to the Canadian broadcasts and its so disappointing.
